If you're storing it in a cool, shaded place and notice the paper feels dry or stiff on the surface, follow these steps right away:
-
Prepare the moisturizing solution: Mix purified water with table salt at a ratio of 20g salt per 1 liter of water (about 2% concentration). Stir until the salt is completely dissolved.
-
Spray evenly: Lay the fire paper flat and use a fine-mist spray bottle to mist the salt water evenly over the surface (be careful not to oversaturate).
-
Reseal: Once the paper has absorbed the moisture and feels soft again, immediately place it back in a sealed bag, press out the air, and seal tightly.
Follow these steps and your fire paper will stay safe, mold-free, and ready to perform whenever you need it. Got questions? Just reach out — we're here to help!
